Joining the New18 campaign is a great way for young people in the New Haven area to hone their advocacy skills and to become involved in the youth rights movement. Although most members of the campaign are high school students, we encourage all members of the New Haven community to become involved.

New18 is a youth-led campaign to lower the voting age to sixteen in the State of Connecticut. The campaign, which was organized by a group of high schoolers at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School, began in the spring of 2011.
